Arusha, Tanzania
Safaris, Kilimanjaro and Zanzibar designed and led by the people who call this land home.
Suni Expedition is a locally owned operator, not a broker. Every itinerary is built around where the wildlife actually is this week, guided by crews we pay above the standard wage, with honest advice on pacing, routes and what to expect.
A local team, not a booking platform.
Suni Expedition is based in Arusha and owned by the people who run it. We don't resell someone else's itinerary our own guides plan every safari, Kilimanjaro climb and Zanzibar escape, lead it on the ground, and answer your questions directly. No call centers, no reseller markup, just a small team that knows this country well.
Every itinerary starts with a conversation, not a template — we ask about your fitness, your timeline and what you actually want to see, then build the route around that instead of handing you a fixed package. It's why trips get adjusted mid-safari when the migration moves or the weather shifts, rather than sticking to a plan written months in advance.
We've run trips across the Northern and Southern Circuits, all three standard Kilimanjaro routes, and the length of the Zanzibar coast and we still sleep in the camps and lodges we recommend before we put them on an itinerary.

No third-party brokers
Every trip is designed and led in-house — you're talking directly to the people running your safari, not a reseller.

Game drives are adjusted around where the migration actually is, not a fixed brochure itinerary.

Who We Serve
Every trip is planned around who's actually traveling — the pacing, vehicles and camps we choose for a family look nothing like what we'd book for a honeymoon or a group of wildlife photographers.
Serengeti · Open road
Solo Travelers
Flexible, safe itineraries with a guide who becomes your main company on the road. You're never awkwardly folded into someone else's group.
Tarangire · Family safari
Families
Kid-friendly pacing, family tents or connecting rooms, and guides who know how to keep young travelers engaged between sightings.
Sunset · Just the two of you
Honeymooners & Couples
Private vehicles, romantic camps and a Zanzibar finale timed for sunsets, not schedules.
Serengeti · Convoy
Groups & Friends
Multi-vehicle convoys with a guaranteed window seat for everyone, and one guide across the whole trip so nobody gets split up.
Group safari · Team trip
Corporate & MICE
Incentive trips and team retreats with logistics handled end to end, from airport pickup to the farewell dinner.
Long lens · First light
Photographers & Wildlife Enthusiasts

Every one of us made the summit
Our guide read the mountain like a book — he adjusted our pace twice when altitude was clearly hitting people in the group, and every single one of us made the summit. Never felt like a number.

Thirty meters from the river crossing
They rerouted our whole third day when word came through that the migration had crossed the river north of where we were headed. We watched the crossing from thirty meters away. That kind of local knowledge isn't something you can book off a brochure.

The perfect end to our safari
Perfect end to our safari. Everything was arranged before we even landed on the island transfers, hotel, even a sunset dhow cruise nobody asked us to upsell. It just showed up as a lovely surprise.
